What is the most challenging part of working in a group? Discuss a time when a group assignment did not go as well as you planned and how you learned from that experience.

 Prompt Response: The hardest part about working in a group is dividing the work evenly. You always get one person that does the majority of the work and the others that just ride on their tailcoats. Once I had an AP biology assignment and I had to do half of it by myself even though it was a four person project. I learned that you just have to suck things up and do them yourself sometimes.

Reflection: I realized that working in a group can be both good and bad. I will use this to weigh my options in the future.

Prompt Response: I was never good at comforting people. It's my worst nightmare to comfort someone incorrectly and make things worse. Despite this, my friend needed someone to talk to and I was going to be there for them no matter what. Prompt Response: In Mean Girls, there is the stereotype that the perfect girls are skinny and girly. The film also depicts nerds as being a bunch of guys that love math. At that time it made me think that pretty girls were selfish and shallow. Summary: We watched stereotypes about Asian and black women. Reflection: I learned about the stereotypes from my culture. I will use this to fight back against bias.

Prompt Response: I believed that I would always be friends with my first best friend. We were best friends for around seven years before we stopped being friends. I realized that we had grown apart and that there wasn't anything I could do about it. I realized that overtime you meet new people and lose your old friends, and that is just how life goes. Everyone needs to move on. Summary: We read more of The Color Purple and wrote a poem. Reflection: I realized that women have always been fighting for more freedom. I will use this to continue fighting for women's rights.
