Prompt response: I would tell the friend to confess at first. If they didn't confess, I would tell the partner. I think that by delaying the truth, you would be delaying the inevitable and making the situation worse. The best course of action would be to confess and be honest so that there is a chance of forgiveness. I also think that lying would lead the situation to build up to an explosion of anger.

Summary: We read Fences and began working on our character posters.

Reflection: I realized that in marriage there needs to be both a give and take. I will use this information when I start relationships.

Prompt Response: In Mean Girls, there is the stereotype that the perfect girls are skinny and girly. The film also depicts nerds as being a bunch of guys that love math. At that time it made me think that pretty girls were selfish and shallow. Summary: We watched stereotypes about Asian and black women. Reflection: I learned about the stereotypes from my culture. Prompt Response: I believed that I would always be friends with my first best friend. We were best friends for around seven years before we stopped being friends. I realized that we had grown apart and that there wasn't anything I could do about it. I realized that overtime you meet new people and lose your old friends, and that is just how life goes. Everyone needs to move on. Summary: We read more of The Color Purple and wrote a poem. Reflection: I realized that women have always been fighting for more freedom. I will use this to continue fighting for women's rights.
